tallgeese Posted February 20, 2009 Share Posted February 20, 2009 Those kind of things are good training tools, even if you're not in one of the Chineese styles that they are normally associated with. They teach great body movement, hand checks, trapping and stirking.As for the martialarm, well, it's pricy for the limited appendages it gives you to work. Without a concern for spending funds it would probibly be alright. ZeroFizz Posted February 21, 2009 Author Share Posted February 21, 2009 Most of my training is now shorin, with a lot of partner work, the most difficult aspect is when you have been shown a technique in class, but the wife and kids dont really want to be used as training partners at home, and bag work dosn't really help, this seems to be a resonable solution or at least the best i found so far. Traymond Posted March 2, 2009 Share Posted March 2, 2009 I like it. You can use those for other things than just Wing Tsun. It would be good to practice are coils and arm bars on aswell. I wouldn't be able to afford one after the shureido sai I just bought, but its something I would save for.
