Open Hand Techniques?

sushi_error

Recommended Posts

I started karate back in September and currently am a white belt. I am having difficulty remembering the open hand techniques:

- shuto sakotsu uchi

- shuto sakotsu uchi komi

- shuto hizo uchi

- shuto uchi uchi

- shuto ganmen uchi

I have a list of terms, but I don't find the descriptions clear enough. Can anyone please help me out (e.g. direct me to images, videos)? Thanks so much in advance.

Google +/- Youtube is your friend.

Type those into them and you will come up trumps.

WNM.

ps.. the hand itself may be held in "Shuto" which = Knife hand in Japanese Karate, the other words you mention refer to either stances or direction of strike...Uchi=inward etc.

Think they are Kyokoshin references perhaps. :)

Google is your best friend for this. I looked it up and found some stuff, personally never used those terms before, but after seeing the video I have a better idea of what you want.

Also in the future, include your style or school/website so that others from that style can give you better suggestion.
