I dont know the science of it, but hitting someone at the back of the head at the top of the neck, right below the skull would do serious damage. Wouldn't it? I just gave myself a sturdy tap there and felt the sensitivity, so a full force punch might do something.

Im not saying its a one technique killer though.

The area you're refering to is known as the Occipital Ridge, its a light force knockout point (a strike here can be known as a brain shake for obvious reasons) and as such causes a blackout when correct force is applied, sufficient force could indeed cause death.

Some people say that there are appr. 30 some places on the body that one strike will cause knockout or even death. I wonder if if you cut the body in half could a person say there is really only 15 places.

I think there has to be a lot that goes into creating a one touch KO like that. I don't think there is enough out there to prove such spots on the body exist.

unfortunally this art is about killing it has nothing to do with self-defense political assaination spying and nerve striking is just one part of it . Strikes to certain areas or pressure points also produce blood clots and nasty infections of the blood and circulation problems. If you dont see it coming and they are expert it won't matter anyway.

If this was a youtube video of guy killing someone with a hammerfist I think we all could agree. But it's not and it's just hear say.

I personally think that this type of thing should be taught to a hand full of people so that the info is not lost. I would not want this used on someone to see if it works. This is like grappling there are a whole lot of neck cranks that can kill a person but nobody will use it in a match . But we know that it can kill . If we did use a move like this we would release them when they tap, why take the risk.

There has to be something in the blood to make it clot; cholesterol levels high or something like that. I don't see a strike forcing blood to clot. If the people who claim this hit water, do they turn it to ice? No. Its all myth, and there is nothing out there that really substantiates it being able to happen.

If a person gets hit in the right spot hard enough then blood clots can happen, a doctor will either operate or give you meds to deal with this ailment. I did boxing for 3 years and i learned alot about blunt force. I dont really want to say a whole lot about this because, if i talk about location i am afraid someone would try it to see, and this is something that i think should be taught in a class with a few students so the info isn't lost.
