bigpopparob2000 Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 I've found some gloves and shin/instep protectors online I'd like to buy, but I'm not sure what size. It seems I heard that you should match your T-Shirt size. Is this true?
nanook660 Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 For my Gloves I measured from the wrist to the tip of my longest finger about 8 inches and my Gloves are SIZE L.As for my Shin Guards with the Instep Pad they are X LARGE I actually went into a store and bought them. I held them up against my shins and picked them out that way.I suggest before you actually buy them you ask the place you are buying them from. Ask questions.Never heard about the T-Shirt rule.Fran The only difference between the possible and the impossible is one's will. - Hironori Ohtsuka Sensei -
bigpopparob2000 Posted January 13, 2009 Author Posted January 13, 2009 What size shoe do you wear, if you don't mind my asking?
DWx Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Generally most online stores give you a size chart. For shin protectors generally it would be best to actually try them but its simple enough just to measure yourself with a tape measure and match it to the appropriate size. I would personally give the store a call if you're not 100% sure "Everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it." ~ Confucius
