Bushido man, yes, Jordan passed away. Before he finished the series no less, I had stopped reading it quite a bit before his last work. I hear someone else is finishing it off his notes and outline.

Yes, the Eregon books are pretty good to, I like them at about the same level as I enjoyed the Harry Potter books. Haven't read the lastest yet, waiting for the paperback.

Yeah it's Brandon Sanderson that's finishing it. I'm just trying to get a feel for some of his more serious books.

Also Brisinger is one of the better books in inheritence.

The best fantasy books I have read were the Shannara series from Terry Brooks. There are several and it starts with the Sword of the Shannara. You can't put them down.
