At the studio where I take classes, we wear white (Century) gi's up through orange belt. When we earn our green belts, we're then allowed to wear a blue gi that has the school name embroidered on the back of the gi top.

We always use white gis. Almost every school in Mexico uses exclusively white gis. You know, the tradition and other things.

The best way to improve is practice.

Me too... I've never seen colored Gi... here in Brasil we all use white ones... and when I look in the jap mags, all of them wear white too...

If you could improve yourself in only three or two months, everybody would be invencible...

I usually wear a white gi, sometimes black when instructing...

I recently visited an American Kempo club where they were wearing black or blue uniforms. Some students had a mix of both and one girl was even wearing a denim gi jacket..... hmmmm? :-?
