I have seen this magazine, Muay Thaimes at my local bookstore. I have thumbed through an issue, but haven't read anything extensive in it. I was wondering if anyone has read it regularly, and if they liked it or not? Does it mainly cover news and interviews? Does do anything for history or technical application? Thanks if you know.

I checked out its web site at:

http://www.muaythaimes.com/index.html

Brian, and there are magazines available for downloading if you click on one of the across-the-top links.

I went through the short Intro issue, then in the second issue I found it to be more interesting, especially one article that has an MT fighter who must have specialized in knees. One photo has him in the air, delivering a jumping knee kick, another has his roundhouse slamming the knee into his opponent's jaw, and the third is an old standard--just grab the guy and let your knee do the talking.

It also includes women in Muay Thai.

Maybe you'd like to visit the site to check it out. I'm bookmarking it, myself.

I have an issue or two of Muay Thaimes from 2000. They published a few trial issues and were supposed to go full bore with it, but never did.

The old issues I have featured stuff like fight reports and interviews. I remember one had a good interview with Bang Ludwig. I liked the mag a lot even though they were only about 10 pages long. I'm glad to see them publishing full issues now. I will look for it on the magazine racks.

Nice to see a magazine for Muay Thai, I have never seen one in any magazine or book stores yet! Surprisingly.
