NeilT Posted November 19, 2008 Author Posted November 19, 2008 thank chaps. This is definately where Karate starts not ends, and although its a cliche, the more i learn, I realise that the more there is is to learnWent training again last night, proud to be in the 'black belt' area of the class, but still aching like mad across my upper body from the grading. The gradings all a bit of a blur now!Neil 1st Dan Black Belt Traditional Shotokan Karate
tori Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 And the aching can last for days! Well done. It just makes you want to learn more, doesnt it?! Live life, train hard, but laugh often.

sensei8 Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 Congrats! Feels great, huh? Now comes the "intermediate" stuff.I remember it like it was yesterday. I put it on, then I took it off, then I put it back on, and then I took it off...well, you get the point! It's like having a brand new car; once you get your new car home, you'll drive it to just get the newpaper at the end of the driveway.Again, congrats! **Proof is on the floor!!!
Traymond Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 haha welcome to the yudanshakai. I still firmly believe that all black belts are related in some way, more spiritually then anything. So welcome. And congratulations To fear death is to limit life - Xin Sarith Azuma Phan Wuku
