joesteph
As he was quoted in the article:"There's been some lows as well, and I definitely won't miss getting punched in the face for a living!" I won't question wisdom born of experience from a man who lost 256 fights. ~ JoeVee Arnis Jitsu/JuJitsu

bushido_man96
You've got to admire his "never give up" attitude.I agree. I don't care what anyone might think of him, to keep plugging away like that shows perserverance. On a side note, he says a lot of things in there about Boxing keeping him in a straight line, giving him focus, and helping to be something in his life other than in trouble. It shows that many of the same "spiritual" aspects touted in Eastern MAs can be found in our Western MA sports, too. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
DWx
Actually reading the articles through, he didn't really do that badly. Fought quite a lot of big names. And he's 39, that's quite old-ish for a professional boxer. "Everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it." ~ Confucius
