coltmakai Posted June 24, 2002 Posted June 24, 2002 Hi I have heard that kickboxing will be in the 2004 olympics. I have also heard that their will be a world cup games kickboxing event in Cancun Mexico. If i could get any information or web sites about either of these topics it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to all.
Withers M.A.A. Posted June 24, 2002 Posted June 24, 2002 That would be great if it really is.... 2nd Degree black belt in Kenpo Karate and Tae Kwon Do. 1997 NASKA competitor-2nd place Nationally in Blackbelt American Forms. Firearms activist!
G95champ Posted June 24, 2002 Posted June 24, 2002 I've not heard anything on it. However the Olympics already features TKD, Judo and Boxing. Im not sure OCC would got for kickboxing or other full contact arts because of the blood that may go along with it. Not to say Boxers don't get busted up but I just don't see them going for it. It may be a trial event however. That would be the perfect stage for an style vs style match up if they were to NHB in the games. That would be great. (General George S. Patton Jr.) "It's the unconquerable soul of man, and not the nature of the weapon he uses, that ensures victory."
