Tae kwon do can comepete in ring kickboxing. But appart from K-1 or cage fighting or UFC or whatever there is no martial art quite as full contact as Muay Thai...

I saw "Professional" TKD on ESPN2 once.. it was very funny to watch. I guess they couldn't punch to the face or kick legs.. cuz all they did was beat each others chests and throw cheesy kicks. So basically, it's the same rules of TKD, just in 3 minute rounds.

here's a question. :???: i would like everyone's opinion?

would you change boxing to include leg kicks , elbows, head butts, and other techniques? :bigwink:

all professional combat sports should include fullcontact and head puching, even pro wrestling has head punching(question fullcontact with wrestling). :argue:

yeah well I dont think you would consider it acting when one of these guys grabs you and tears your spinal column out of your a#@..these guys are acting but it takes alot of skill, training and control to do what they do..keep in mind im not a big fan but from what i have seen its is naive to think they cant really put you into hurt mode as for full contact taekwondo when you add the punching then its the same as kickboxing..in my opininon its just a game of tag with the legs theres too many rules and every year they are adding another one..not to mention the politics involved..i dont even want to start on that subject..

Some of these ProWrestlers are probably very good fighters. I know in Japan, they have very good martial art training incorporated into the prowrestling.. This is why Sakuraba, a prowrestler, has done so well in MMA type of events. For these people to fake the movements and not hurt each other, they should know how to actually do the movements so that they do hurt as to prevent accidents.

Yeah sure, A pro Muay Thai San Shou guy could kick tripple H's ass any day. The reason they move so fast is because it is like dancing, they know everything that is going to happen. Of course, they are big tall and musclear but steriods can't give them real fighing skills.
