Authentic weapons?

Since back in the day when I would mail order shuriken with my allowance, I've wondered if there was a company that produced authentic MA weapons. Especially Chinese. I am curious what would actually pass as acceptable in a dojo in Japan.

I think a nunchaku wiyh a silkscreened ninja on them could get me into trouble.

For Chinese weapons, I know that Wing Lam Enterprises has connections for some good stuff, and even some antique weapons.

Now, Japanese swords are ANOTHER story...There are many capable craftsmen here in the states, and abroad...Although I have heard many good things about Bugei Trading Company.

LOL I hear ya...when it comes to this stuff, I hate that I HAVE a credit card lol

I would recommend ALL of the Shureido stuff...I have a pair of Nunchaku from Shureido that are 20+ years old, and still work GREAT.

I don't even know what some of this stuff is, but I want it!

Regret posting this already, I'm about to go broke.

And the neighbors already had raised eyebrows when I was doing simple staff forms in the backyard. This will confirm that I'm crazy to them.

Humble that is ok because my neighbors think i'm crazy or possessed by demons. I have been using a walking stick as a bo staff and my neighbor thinks well....i'm a loon.
