tallgeese
Ok, see what you started here bushido man, quoting and all . Now you've got me reading it.Here's a bit of wisdom that seems to reference a couple of other discussions we're having elsewhere- from the Fire Scroll:"since it is a matter of gaining victory quickly by preemption, therefore preemption is the foremost concern in martial arts" http://alphajiujitsu.com/https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJhRVuwbm__LwXPvFMReMww
bushido_man96
Ok, see what you started here bushido man, quoting and all . Now you've got me reading it. Awesome! That's what I was hoping for...."since it is a matter of gaining victory quickly by preemption, therefore preemption is the foremost concern in martial arts"That's great, a pre-emptive strike clause! And I agree so much with it. I think that there is such a huge misconception portrayed about how a Martial Artist will always be able to block the first strike, or be able to survive the first blow landed, and then procede from there. I think it is an unsafe generalization to make. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
tallgeese
I agree, I figured you'd like that little gem. Actaully, that whole section is fairly interesting. http://alphajiujitsu.com/https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJhRVuwbm__LwXPvFMReMww
bushido_man96
I plan to fish through the book, popping in little bits and comments as I go. Should stimulate some good discussion. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
