weapon tournament

helloooo everyone!

I have a hypothetical tournament for you you can choose ANY martial arts style and ANY weapons aslong as they aren't ranged. But, you have to fight 1000 people in a stadium and rack up the casulties.

Rules= no ranged weapon, no throwing weapon,

Yeah, you could get alot of mileage out of a big-ole shield, that's for certain. I've got to second that one. Every big melee i was in during my SCA days I opted for this combo. Every thing else was too one dimensional and too easily countered to be considered for me.

Can it be a modern weapon? if so I would take an m60 with acouple belts of ammo. if not Iwould also go the sword and shield route

sword and shield..that's why this combo was used by armies for centuries...

Ah, so true. It works well, especially once you realize that the shield in your off hand is another weapon. Truly, when done correctly, sword and shield is actually a two-weapon system.
