The BB of C Posted July 23, 2008 Posted July 23, 2008 I was thinking about attending but I decided not to because it was light contact point sparring.
ninjanurse Posted July 23, 2008 Author Posted July 23, 2008 I was thinking about attending but I decided not to because it was light contact point sparring. It is a sanctioned WTF event-light contact to the head is only for Jr. BB's under 13. Otherwise you must cause "trembling shock" to be awarded points. Standard WTF Sparring(Gyuroogi) rules is not point sparring but rather continuous rounds...and you can win by knockout. This will definitely not be a light contact tournament! "A Black Belt is only the beginning."Heidi-A student of the artsTae Kwon Do,Shotokan,Ju Jitsu,Modern Arnishttp://the100info.tumblr.com/
