tori Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Next Tuesday I test for my 1st degree Black Belt. After almost 5 years of training, I am one test away!! I have had this dream since I was about 8yrs old and I am so close!!! I am going back and forth between excitement and nervousness Prayers and well wishes greatly appreciated So how did it go?! Jazzstorm Posted July 3, 2008 Author Posted July 3, 2008 It went very well and I passed!!!!!!! I was nervous when I got there, so I was trying to relax talking with friends. When I went in the bathroom to get dressed and put my brace on,I discovered IT WAS BROKE!!!! I was freaking out! I looked everywhere for the broken piece to see if it could be fixed with no luck. Normally,I would have just tried without it,but I tore my meniscus on the other leg and really needed to rely on the left (bad knee) Luckily,my husband drove home and repaired it just in the nick of time! UUUGHHH! That whole scene really got me hyped up! LOL Anyway,last night was day 1 of a sparring seminar...I am sore and bruised.
