KarateEd
I recently saw Akira Kurosawa's The Seven Samurai. Though it was long (started at 7:00pm and ended at 10:30pm) I really enjoyed it. My sister even got interested in it. I was wondering who else had seen it and what people thought of it. Maybe NightOwl can review it, if he hasn't already.Ed Ed
tallgeese
Yes, and I loved it. Along with several other samurai flicks of the same genera. http://alphajiujitsu.com/https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJhRVuwbm__LwXPvFMReMww
NightOwl
Ah reviews! I'll try and get one out before the summer is done.Seven Samurai is a great movie- a must see. Most say it is Kurosawa's best but I have somewhat of a soft spot for Yojimbo. Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.~Theodore Roosevelt
bushido_man96
I have not seen this one. However, there was a Western done in the same mold as this movie; The Magnificent Seven, and I have heard that it is an excellent movie as well. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com

KarateEd
Ah, The Magnificent Seven. I saw this some years ago, before ever seeing The Seven Samurai. It was good and was full of big name actors, for that time. Ed
humble monk
Interestingly, I find myself identifying with different characters from the film as I get older.
