Withers M.A.A. Posted June 17, 2002 Posted June 17, 2002 NO sorry I've never been to prison. I work as a computer programmer for a printing company and the coworker was actually a temp doing menial bindery work. 2nd Degree black belt in Kenpo Karate and Tae Kwon Do. 1997 NASKA competitor-2nd place Nationally in Blackbelt American Forms. Firearms activist!
Iron Arahat Posted June 17, 2002 Posted June 17, 2002 A computer programmer against a temp doing menial bindery work, there is the fight to end all fights. Would anyone be armed with a pocket protector? Always watch out when someone is starting to loose and they resort to dirty tactics like throwing paper clips! ckdstudent Posted June 17, 2002 Posted June 17, 2002 Ckdstudent, Oh yeah I have heard of Grandmaster Choi. I studied WTF TKD years ago and I heard his name a few years ago. Now I have been studying JKD and I really like it. The system I study is more geared for the streets not for the ring ........ You're probably thinking of General Choi, who founded ITF, unless there's a Grandmaster Choi in WTF. CKD itself is geared more for streets than the ring, mainly because we don't actually train to compete at all, merely to defend ourselves. Competition is not part of CKD. ---------Pil SungJimmy B
Northren Ogre Posted June 17, 2002 Posted June 17, 2002 What kind of company hires someone who did ten years of hard time in a "high security prison" to do menial bindary work? http://prkickboxing.tripod.com
Withers M.A.A. Posted June 18, 2002 Posted June 18, 2002 Iron you are just too cool for the rest of us. You must be my hero and I wish I could be as cool and funny as you. If throwing paper clips wins a fight then hey I'm game. 2nd Degree black belt in Kenpo Karate and Tae Kwon Do. 1997 NASKA competitor-2nd place Nationally in Blackbelt American Forms. Firearms activist!
Iron Arahat Posted June 18, 2002 Posted June 18, 2002 I'm sure an elastic band gun that shoots paper clips would be even better. It's only fun until someone loses an eye. ______________________ I'm not smiling because your joke was funny... I'm smiling because I know you'll be dead someday. Withers M.A.A. Posted June 19, 2002 Posted June 19, 2002 Actually, this all happened at a firearm plant that I'm working at. I know how afraid of guns you are and how scared you are to come into this country for fear of your life. Unlike you, we can deal with the pressure of real society. We are in the real world not locked up in a bubble in front of a computer being online quoting everyone else about how unsafe it is to live the way we do. You'll be that sorry dude who lives in this bubble and the second he steps out gets squashed by a bus. Have a nice day. 2nd Degree black belt in Kenpo Karate and Tae Kwon Do. 1997 NASKA competitor-2nd place Nationally in Blackbelt American Forms. Firearms activist!
Iron Arahat Posted June 19, 2002 Posted June 19, 2002 Okay bud you got me I live in a bubble (please note tone of sarcasim). By the way here are the facts (available through user profiles on the board): Username: Withers M.A.A. - (6.42 Messages per day) Username: Iron Arahat - (2.04 Messages per day) So if I post 2 messages a day, and you post 6, and based on your statement you are out of the real world three times more than myself. Compounded by the fact that you like guns and feel that they are necessary to defend yourself, I think you are out of touch with reality. Withers you need a sense of humour. Maybe some community college courses. Sorry you are threatened by intellect. _________________________ Study without reflection is a waste of time; reflection without study is dangerous. ckdstudent Posted June 19, 2002 Posted June 19, 2002 Actually there's no martial art that'll stop you being squashed by a bus if one hits you, and the only weapons you could use would get you arrested for attempted or actual mass murder. Where does the bus come into the whole thing? ---------Pil SungJimmy B
