Who Are Your Martial Art Heroes?

Recommended Posts

He was a wushu champion in his youth, however that is very different from an mma competition, especially seeing how the days of his youth were before MMA was big.

Much respect to Tora Tanaka and Prof. Wally Jay! I am also partial to Ernie Reyes and Chuck Norris as I have studied both of their systems. Some lesser known, but equally as important, heros are Gary Bowers, Herb Nye, and Clyde Kanekoa.

Can't go wrong putting Bruce at the top of this list.

The Gracies as a whole need props too for again revolutionizing the arts.

Norris is a personal fav of mine for his early influence on my desire to study (not to mention that Walker is guilty pleasure of mine :) ).
