kansascityshuffle Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 I agree, when I was only doing shito and goju the "uppercut" kind of punch that was taught was ridiculous compared to a boxing style uppercut punch. If you can throw a decent uppercut you'd be surprised how many thaiboxers you'll catch off guard trying to uppercut your way out of their clinch because it's not something taught that often in muay thai.
