well...

we used terminology but i've never been told of a term that means a korean martial artist but....

dan means rank of black belt

gup means rank of anyone below bb

sun beh nim is a senior student

kyo sa nim is a certified instructor

sah bum nim is a certified master

and kwan jang nim is a certified grand master

but thats all i know. if you find that term somehow, let me know.

I have heard people use the term Taekwon-doka but thats because they are borrowing from Judo to create some sort of word. I don't think I've ever come across a proper term for a Korean stylist.

Taekwondoan is proper for TKD students.

Kyukido (pronounced Koo key doh) is Korean for martial arts. Not sure what Martial Artist is in Korean, tho.
