NewEnglands_KyoSa Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 as long as its in both of your best interests and it won't mess with your MAs go for it. and good luck! "Smile. Show everyone that today you're stronger than you were yesterday."
NewEnglands_KyoSa Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 anytime... "Smile. Show everyone that today you're stronger than you were yesterday."
bushido_man96 Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 This can be tricky. I would never tell anyone that they can't date because they are fellow students; it just doesn't work out well. I had that policy once, but pitched it.Now, keep in mind that if you get started, and things don't work out, then it may be weird for one or both of you to still go to the same MA school. Keep this in mind. If you break up, will one or both of you end up quitting? With all that said, I met my wife at my TKD class. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
AikiGuy Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 Don't get too hung up on the fact that you are new to this art. I don't think it should matter at all. Actually, it might help. Assuming this girl has more training than you, you can ask if she still trains then ask her to help you brush up a bit. It will give you a chance to see how she reacts to you outside of class without telling her everything. Paranoia is not a fault. It is clarity of the world around us.
joesteph Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 well there is this girl i used to train with in my old martial art but i still like her i know her outside of karate too should i go for her i am in a new martial art and everything i just dont know what to do I was looking over older postings and found this one from February.Well? Throwdown0850 Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 Really...Is This Thread For Real?what is that supposed to mean? You must become more than just a man in the mind of your opponent. -Henri Ducard
