ps1 Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 Kempo, noJujitsu, yes. "It is impossible to make anything foolproof because fools are so ingenius."
NewEnglands_KyoSa Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 kempo, yesjujitsu, no. "Smile. Show everyone that today you're stronger than you were yesterday."
pittbullJudoka Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 I would say yes to both even though we don't have a certified black belt in jujitsu. I can figure about anything out that is involed in grappling my mind just clicks with that type of thing.
CloudDragon Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 Yes, and yes, if you study both styles completely and not as a hybrid, I feel they are very complimentary systems. A Black Belt is just a white belt that don't know when to quit!
mmljpp Posted February 4, 2008 Author Posted February 4, 2008 mine is a hybrid but it also incorporate many other arts
CloudDragon Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 I would encourage you to see if you are learning the complete system. Many people "create" their own style that can be great for them but will not work for others. The traditional systems usually provide a wider range of techniques that are suitable for many different people. A Black Belt is just a white belt that don't know when to quit!
CloudDragon Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Sounds like a great opportunity! A Black Belt is just a white belt that don't know when to quit!
