bushido_man96
Well, this is true. However, we don't always have the option of diffusion. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
cross
Well, this is true. However, we don't always have the option of diffusion.Ofcourse. I was simply stating that if a person is yelling at you then at least the option of diffusion is still there, and much more likely.
yingampyang
I have just signed up recently but have been browsing for a while but i have a question i am a great fighter i know what to do and how to do it but when i get the adreanline rush i forget everything and start swinging wildly does anyone have any advice??This rush you speak of is great! this means that your body is working and you are ready to fight. there are two different types of opitions the body takes "flight or fight" , all you have to do is control this and once you have done this you will see a huge different in speed strength and sight. I think that there is no 1 style , and that to truly become a great martial artist and person you must take information from where ever you can. Throwdown0850
wow, umm, you have asked the number one most asked question to all martial arts. so far everybody has had good input, making a sparring match into a realistic situation. BUT, in class that person is going to get into a stance that you recognize. Also that person is going to throw the most straightest punch for you to counter. now i have the mind set that in a fight, it is a NEED to win not a desire to win. because everybody knows that in a real fight, that unexpected punch is going to seem impossible to counter. train your choice reaction time.. that may help? You must become more than just a man in the mind of your opponent. -Henri Ducard
bushido_man96
Training reaction time is a good idea. However, one should keep in mind that action is always faster than reaction. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
Throwdown0850
no had has said it so, your just going to have to fight. not spar. fight. nothing is better than real thing. and I am not saying to go out and pick a fight. its like driving, when you start driving, your nervous and you freeze when you do something wrong, but now, you can probably do it with your eyes closed. why? not by playing driving video games. but by driving a real car where anything thing can go wrong. You must become more than just a man in the mind of your opponent. -Henri Ducard
bushido_man96
This one thing that tournaments can help with. They may not all be the same, and have rules and the like, but making yourself get over the nerves, and push yourself to action, are valuable lessons, and in a fairly controlled environment. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com

Anticipation may be faster, but there are some simple drills you can try out to see. Put a towel on your shoulder, with it hanging evenly in the middle. Now, you stand with your hands down, and when you partner tries to grab the towel, try to stop him. Most of the time, you won't be able to, because you can't react until he acts. This automatically puts you behind the curve. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
