I'm not going to rave or rant o the unarmed, or even armed combat skills displayed by the fight set ups. No, it's something much cooler than that.

In the pilot they heroes go into a bank. The poor security guard whom they bumrusha nd put down is a old man with no hope of stopping the female terminator. Actually, unless my eyes decived me, that's a lie. That nice old security guard could have put her on the floor and made her tell him he was pretty!

It was Judo Gene LeBell unless I was completely wrong. It was neat just seeing him do what he always said he did best in the movies. Get knocked down or thrown through a wall, collect his check and go home.

Going to do a little searching to make sure. But the nose and the face man. If it had been a pink gi and not a security uniform I'd have been a little more sure. I'll let you know what I find.

Yeah, that WAS Gene LeBell! I noticed when I saw the episode but forgot until seeing this thread.

I took judo from him for a couple of years when I was little. 30 years ago! I remember seeing him get beat up by Hutch on Starsky and Hutch back in the 70s.

Most of you probably know, but he's done an incredible amount of stunt work over the decades. I just popped into his imdb page. It's amazing! Hundreds of entries. Everything from Reno:911 to RoboCop to Planet of the Apes to The Jack Benny Show!

LeBell is one of the greatest Martial Artist and stuntmen ever. His resume is awsome he's been in a load of stuff. I have to say he's a great person as well. I too had the chance to train with him for a weekend a few years back. Very humble man.
