i dont know why but my gi gets alot of lint and hair on it i dont know if it is from the dryer or not but there is always hair on it i feel embarrasesd in class too

our dryer is old but good caught on fire a couple yearss back but is good now

is something wrong with the dryer? how do you properly wash a gi?

That's kind of odd. Usually, a dryer is pretty good at removing lint and hair. Have you cleaned the filter/screen lately? Perhaps where you store your gi it accumulates fuzz/hair? You could keep a lint roller in your bag and give your gi a once over right before class.

Yeah, you'll get a lot of people who won't machine dry their gi. Doesn't wear out as fast. Only problem is that means you have to time when you wash your gi to give time to dry when not a class. A heavyweight gi WILL NOT hang dry in a day in the winter time, so don't wash it the day before a tournament. :P
