Hey- anyone use this move? I've recently come to have a great interest in it, even though I doubt I could pull it off. In case you don't know what the suplex is, here are some videos including the judo variant ura nage:

Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.

I train with a skilled greco roman wrestler that has used it in his MMA fights. Not my cup of tea however.

I remember seeing Dan Severen pull TWO off in his second fight of the night during UFC 4...fight lasted like a minute...he knocked the guy out with the second suplex. Was unreal...almost looked like a pro wrestling match. ;)

I Love suplex...But I find them VERY difficult -for me - to apply them in MMA and in plain grappling....

I connected a frontal suplex once ...but with a very light dude....

The one from Grapplers Quest showed great exicution of not only the belly to back but also in holding position to take the back and sink the rear naked choke. Great clips by the way.
