bushido_man96
You are right. Especially if you have a partner who is willing to tell you what he is seeing when you are doing your techniques. Videotaping may also help to figure this out as well. My buddies and I videoed ourselves doing our SCA combat once, and we learned quite a bit from watching that, too. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
Zanshin
You are right. Especially if you have a partner who is willing to tell you what he is seeing when you are doing your techniques. How they tell you could be the key. Most of the students in the Dojo where I train would tell you by hitting you. In a nice way of course. Videoing has its place, but sometimes you can only see the tiny "inflections" in people’s movement in real life, and for this you need a good partner. yingampyang
I want to see if everyone uses the same method for generating power so......how does everyone get power into their techniques name the technique and then explain your method for generating power in that attack.Off you go! It does not matter about the move , every power technique should bring power up from the ground through your legs and hit the center energy force of your body (hips/waist) then flow through to were you want it , do this and you move will be deadly powerful. I think that there is no 1 style , and that to truly become a great martial artist and person you must take information from where ever you can.
