Kensai Posted August 8, 2002 Posted August 8, 2002 I guess so Jade, your great sense of humour completely eludes me.
BlueDragon1981 Posted August 13, 2002 Posted August 13, 2002 I come from the area where blanks first started training and where he did his point fighting. Blanks was just that. A POINT fighter. He was a lot more flash than practicallity. However he is a good sport karateka. He probably could adapt himself to fighting for real if he tried. Billy Blanks is not my favorite person but I have respect for him. (even though there is a lot of proof that he didnt make up the Tae Bo system, he stole it off of someone else and pattened it and used his star status to promote it....just a good business man I guess) We should all at least respect both the sport and practical part of martial arts.
Bon Posted October 4, 2002 Posted October 4, 2002 Jade I can see that you should perhaps take reading lessons, I wrote that " there is to much to read", so I would like to spell it out and say "there is to much to read, could someone give me a quick low down". Perhaps you should read more and learn the difference between 'to' and 'too'. If someone like you has the patience you study akido, I'm sure you can take 10min to read some posts. It takes sacrifice to be the best. There are always two choices, two paths to take. One is easy. And its only reward is that it's easy.
Patrick Posted October 4, 2002 Posted October 4, 2002 Quibbling over spelling and gramatical items (as well as telling people to take "reading lessons") is unneccessary. Keep it on topic and to say it plainly: be nice. Thanks. Patrick O'Keefe - KarateForums.com AdministratorHave a suggestion or a bit of feedback relating to KarateForums.com? Kensai Posted October 4, 2002 Posted October 4, 2002 lol Bon, I wrote that a month ago. Sorry Patrick. Ps Bon its Aikido not akido. Take Care.
Patrick Posted October 4, 2002 Posted October 4, 2002 I didn't see that. This thread is indeed a little old. No need to drag up old dirt now.
