masterintraining Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 i keep seing these adds for martial armor own the backs and in "inside kungfu magazine" i was wondering if anyone knows if this stuff is good for tournies or not. i was considering getting it but im not sure if its worth the price tag not to mention if its even legal in most tournies.http://www.centurymartialarts.com for pics of this stuff if u hav not seen it or dont remember it. you must learn different combinations of techniques down to your very soul and they must come without thinking when you finish with one technique, you must immediately go into another until you have attained your goal which is to destroy the enemy.
marie curie Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 I've heard good stuff about this.. you may want to search "martial armor" on this site and see what pops, because I think that we've discussed it before. dano Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 I purchased the martial armor from Century for my sons. In tournaments they (both are under 18 ) are required to wear some chest protection. The ones provided by the tournament organizers were too big and bulky. The Armor is lightweight and fits well. It also won't ride up on you when you throw kicks like some of the other bulkier chest protectors. The Armor is thinner then most chest protectors and doesn't provide the same level of protection that the thicker can offer. But, both my sons liked the Armor and have used them in a number of touramanets.Hope that helps.
