BudoTiger Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 started over again at white belt in kimura shukokai after 4 years (and roughly 6 weeks from my brown belt test) in shaolin kempo. How did this go for you?i am loving it. alot of it is carrying over pretty well. first kata in both styles is the same and second kata in shukokai is pretty similar so i am picking it up pretty fast. sensei said i may skip a few ranks in the beginning due to previous training and everything carrying over. i just dont wanna go too fast because i was out for a year after hurting my back so i am still trying to get back in the swing of things. only been going for abt 2 months. bushido_man96 Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 Eeewww, that sounds rough. Definitely take your time with that. I have been coming off an elbow injury from an impromptu grappling session with a class mate, so I know where you are coming from. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
