EnvE Posted June 3, 2002 Posted June 3, 2002 Anyone a fan of PRIDE or K-1? They're probably the most entertaining fighting on tv. Too bad it only shows in Japan and rarely in the states. It might show in other countrys too, but I'm not sure. Fighting over the internet is like special olympics...even if you win, you're still a *.
Withers M.A.A. Posted June 3, 2002 Posted June 3, 2002 I love K-1. They are some of the elite fighters in the world. Always great matches. 2nd Degree black belt in Kenpo Karate and Tae Kwon Do. 1997 NASKA competitor-2nd place Nationally in Blackbelt American Forms. Firearms activist!
cross Posted July 15, 2003 Posted July 15, 2003 There are quiet a few k-1 fights shown on pay-tv in australia.
major_motoko Posted July 15, 2003 Posted July 15, 2003 In UK and possibly other countries in Europe, K-1 is sometimes on Eurosport Channel, usually after 11pm. It's ok, I don't find it keeps my interest much tho, sorry I actually really like to watch.. Sumo! Very entertaining! motoko 2nd Kyu Brown Belt, Wado Ryu Karate-do"Daniel-san best karate still inside!" Mr Myagi
SBN Doug Posted July 16, 2003 Posted July 16, 2003 There were a couple K-1 fights on ESPN tonight. At least they called them K-1. Kuk Sool Won - 4th danEvil triumphs when good men do nothing.
Treebranch Posted July 16, 2003 Posted July 16, 2003 I've never seen K-1 but I love Pride fights much better than UFC. "It is easier to find men who will volunteer to die, than to find those who are willing to endure pain with patience.""Lock em out or Knock em out"
Radok Posted July 16, 2003 Posted July 16, 2003 I just watched a K-1 tonight. Great fights. If you can't laugh at yourself, there's no point. No point in what, you might ask? there's just no point. Many people seem to take Karate to get a Black Belt, rather than getting a Black Belt to learn Karate.
