Yeah, and it needs to be curbed, really fast. That will be the worst PR enemy of the MMAs, not the "attitudes" that many claim the fighters have.

This is all true, and I agree it needs to be curbed, however the fact the athletic commision completely overturned a decisive submission win for nom performance drugs seems inconsistent with the treatment of steroids. Many fighters have tested positive for steroids, and not had wins overturned. Why should a recreational drug that likely decreases performance receive harsher treatment than something that more realistically could have changed the outcome of the match?

That drug is on the list of banned substances for mma fighters. I this that no matter what substance a fighter is caught using they should suffer the same fate along with the appromiate monitery fines.

That doesn't make sense at all. There needs to be consitency across the board, no matter what the classification of drug.

exactly, so if they overturn decisions for Marijuana, then they should overturn them for steroids as well.

If anything, you'd think steroids would have been punished more harshly. That's so crazy! It should be like the olympics...if you get caught using a banned substance...you lose! End of story.

Lose, and banned from competition. However, there are so many fight organizations out there now, that if one starts to ban its fighters, the others may take them in to gain some fans. It would have to be something that went across the board to all commissions.

Well any fights in California the Athletic comission there does a good job of testing. I think it has ran rampant for years, since almost the begging of the sport in America. Only diffrence is now that people are getting drug tested and getting caught.

It's the same in Ohio! We have strict regulations here as well. But as close as Pennsylvania and Indiana there are none. Seriously...none. You can fight under a false name in Indiana. One of our guys actually went to fight in Indiana and lost. To avoid it hurting his record he just gave them a different name. We gave him hell for it...but that shouldn't be able to happen.
