osuperu Posted March 5, 2008 Share Posted March 5, 2008 Well i wouldnt be too quick to call it a mcdojo... you need to find time/strength to talk to your sensei, if he's not willing to hear you out/help you out, then it becomes a real problem for you.and it could be just stylistically...atleast in during my shotokan stint, it was very intense physically in all aspects, yet we really didn't spar much at all (the one downside)... in hindsite i would have loved to have tried kyokushin but there were none around where i live, but like PAL said, i doubt i could afford a serious injury which is somewhat common in the MA. Thats why I love Chito-ryu, we do everything.
