Just a couple of questions:

1. Could someone list and describe any martial arts systems where two swords or sticks are used together? (I've practiced Arnis, and I already have a separate thread about Nito)

2. What sword fighting system was used with the Green Destiny in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon? I ask this because it's the only time I've seen a double edged sword used with 1 hand. Please forgive my ignorance

Thanks in advance, Mike

Kuk Sool has forms and such with double short swords and double short staves. I'm not sure about double long swords or double mid/long staves. KSN Doug would be better able to comment on that than I.

Yes, it also has double long swords, but not a double edged sword that I've seen.

I believe, but correct me if I'm wrong, that Tai Chi uses a double-edged sword in some forms. Then there's always EMA fencing.

I think you're right on the Tai Chi sword. I think its long, straight, and double edged. But I don't believe they use double swords. I think that's a different art.

Tai chi does use the double edged sword and so does wushu in some of their forms. Good luck in your training with the double edged sword it is extremely difficult to use.

Aha! Someone who has the kind of information I want! Please Tell me more Searcher, i.e.

Could you give me more information or could you direct me to more information on the Tia Chi and the Wushu methods of double edged swords?

Thanks ahead of time, Mike.
