There's the throat slit, smother, neck-break, back-break, knife through the neck, eye spike, and that's just naming a few. Due to the Budget Cuts and Politically Correct Army Policy none of the above will be trained. Instead you will be taunt how to detur enemys with a non-violent approach. Do unto others, as they done to you.
Phantasmatic
How come I never heard a thing about this, we always hear things that happen to the Military (i.e. the chinese and the spy plane incident) "Which one is more foolish, the fool or the fool who follows him?" - Obi Wan Kenobi

Quite a while ago in italy there was a cable car full of skiiers and familys and these 2 pilots decided to have some fun and started to fly around the cable car and ultimately killed about 50 people it was the same in the gulf war and vietnam. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that fighter that crashed into the skiers in Italy was piloted by Marines. It's happy hour somewhere in the world. G95champ
Being a History teacher and an PROUD American. I agree with everyone one else here. As far as why are our piolots not punished. Trust me they loose their wings a lot. Listen do you think the Pentagon is happy when a jet or anything for that matter screws up That only cost them about 15 million for the jet alone. You know what? Crap happens! As far as your comments about the Gulf War its pretty common knowledge that we killed more of our own men that the Iraqi's did. Yeah our guys screwed up thats a pretty high punishment I think. Lets see prison or living with the guilt I killed my friends. Then if you want to talk about Vietnam try not knowing who the bad guy is. They were our friends by day and killed us by night. Don't call down the thunder because one day you will be happy to see our F-15 Tomcats overhead allowing you to be free. _________________ (General George S. ckdstudent
To be fair though Vietnam was fought badly, America was trying to fight a guerilla army with traditional methods, and it didn't work particularly well. The best unit for anti-guerilla action is the British SAS, given the different training methods (American special forces tend to be trained as shock troops, whereas the British are trained for prolonged, miserable, dragged out, sniping, subtle fighting which can take months or more). This is not to insult the American army, maybe the generals, but the army did everything they could and many of the people in it showed incredible courage, and even more when they returned home to ridicule and disgust from the people that they were told they had been fighting for. And all because the US government didn't like communism. ---------Pil SungJimmy B
Don Gwinn
ZR440 is absolutely right. It was the Marines who hit the cable on the lift in Italy. 50 people is a gross exaggeration, but I don't remember the exact number killed. It was horrible. ____________________________________* Ignorant Taekwondo beginner.http://www.thefiringline.com

--
**** happens. America is a good country, with generally good intentions, but it ultimately acts in self interest. I am quite impressed with the militaristic/industrial headlock that America has the world in, but every nation that rises to crush others is eventually crushed in the same way. History makes no distinction between 'good' and 'bad'.
