Buster Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 My son is studying Karate and on his certificate for his grading is Sei Do Kai karate academies. Is this the name of the clubs,or is it the style of Karate that he is studying? If it is the style, can anyone tell me where I can find out about the history of this style. If it is'nt the style, does anyone have any idea which style it is.Cheers in advance.Busta
bushido_man96 Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 Do a Google search on it, and see what it brings up. It may be an organization; I don't recognize the style. However, that means very little; there is a lot that I don't know. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
Buster Posted August 13, 2007 Author Posted August 13, 2007 I've found out now that the style is shukokai.I know this is a personnal choice question. But is shukokai a good style?
AikiGuy Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 I've never heard of that one. What kind of style is it? Do you have any specifics about it? Is it: hard, soft, linear, evasive, purist Karate, mixed style, etc? Paranoia is not a fault. It is clarity of the world around us.
Elky Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 I seem to remember that wikipedia has an entry on shukokai and it's quite a well established style. Check it out there.
