lordtariel Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 So I don't know how many people know this but there are actually kata in traditional judo. My sensei used to teach them to his black belt students. Has anyone here ever trained in them or seen them? There's no place like 127.0.0.1
nine_weapons Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 I have. the reason a lot of people don't know them is because they are not required knowledge until black belt level. Some instructors will start showing them to you at one of the brown belt levels. bushido_man96 Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 I have seen them in books before. I have never seen them done, though. I wasn't aware of what rank they were required at. They are actually two-man katas, aren't they? https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
