I was reading about the results of the most recent event, and I was wondering if anyone has ever experienced them? I think they would be great to watch. If anyone has anything to enlighten me, I would appreciate it. As far as seeing them, I've seen a clip on Youtube of Kyra Gracie against a Japanese woman whose name escapes me. It's a pretty serious tournament, a lot of the UFC guys like Jeff Monson, Elvis Sinosic - pretty much any of the grappling specialists - have competed in it. I know Cindy Hales, who competed in it and was kind of a favorite but did it soon after a ovarian cyst surgery, if memory serves me right...kind sux, but she didn't make any excuses. Thanks!to answer your question, yes I've seen these events and my younger brother's first fight was against Anthony Hamlett who went against Royler Gracie in it one year, and yes, my brother won. An American named Matt Fowler shocked everyone by winning against Renzo Gracie and then Saulo Ribeiro back to back. Marcelo Garcia beat him though. Marcelo won that division. GZK, did you say she competed at Abu Dhabi after only 3 years of training. You're right...that's crazy. Amazing she even made it. Good for her.P.S. Adonis Posted August 9, 2007 Share Posted August 9, 2007 Its pretty good tourment, I have baught them before. Saw good matches like Ricardo Arona vs. Jean Jeac Machado, Tito Oritz vs. Matt hughes.
