Mtal Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Hi, has anyone tried those Captain Crunch Grippers? I like to buy one, but I was wondering which one I sould get. Ok I can do the ones you by in any typical sports store, with the plastic grips. I was wondering how the captain crunch ones compare. Thanks. Jay Johnson
nine_weapons Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 captain crunch? do you mean captain of crush? if you do, I don't have any, but know several people who have and love them. A_Train Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 For some reason I was picturing a plastic gripper that came in a box of cereal. I play a wrestling game online. If you'd like to play follow this linkhttp://www.thewrestlinggame.com/wg.asp?w= 133896

Kachidospace Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Captains of Crush (CoC) grippers are fantastic for increasing your crushing grip strength. They come in all levels of difficulty so anyone can begin. Although the number is constantly growing, only a short list of people have ever closed the #4.Just so you get an idea of how hard these things are to close, a regular grip trainer you can buy at the sporting goods store is about 15-30 lbs.The CoC Guide is 60 lbs, roughly twice as hard. The Trainer is 100 lbs.The #1 is 140 lbs.The #2 is 195 lbs.The #3 is 280, and the #4 is 365 lbs.Having really strong hands is great for injury protection and functional strength in martial arts. I’d look into picking one up! They’re only 20 bucks a pop.
