As my interest grows in sword play I've decided I need and want to find a place the will teach me hands on. Books and videos are great and all but as you all know an instructor is much better and my current art doesn't teach the sword all that extensively except for the 3 forms we have to learn(that were just added by the Assoc.) So with that being said does anybody know where I can go to learn to use a sword in the NEPA area preferably close to the Scranton area. I'm looking for Korean or japanese or even chinese sword play. I have several katana's already but I'm always willing to expand my collection :brow: so any excuse to get another sword is good with me. Hopefully someone has som good suggestions

Although this isn't and Eastern Martial Arts answer, you may check the website for the Assosciation for Renaissance Martial Arts (https://www.thearma.org). You may be able to find a study group that resides in the area, that will most likely do some hands-on training.

Good luck, and happy hunting! :D
