yingampyang Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 When checking out a new school, what are the right questions to ask before joining?I have a school of my own and the question i get asked is how strick i am. The correct questions that i would ask , is how long the teacher has been doing MA and hwo experienced he is , this will give you a better view on how good the class will be. Also ask questions about the school its self , rules, times, and payment. I think that there is no 1 style , and that to truly become a great martial artist and person you must take information from where ever you can.
NY_Karatedork Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 Wow when I e-mailed my sensei I asked pretty much all those questions and he gave me really good answers. I haven't been to class in a few weeks as I accidently broke my stupid foot but He answered most of my questions and is really a good guy. I have ninja monkies in my brain and they are using it as a trampaline.
