In Defence of McDojos

Recommended Posts

It makes one wonder though... with SO many mcdojo's out there... how many kids have gone out confident in their ability to protect themselves, only get stomped on due to lack of proper training? its a sad situation in my eyes...

Of course without mcdojo's who would i have in my black belt division to make me feel good about myself? people who actually can compete.. then i lose :( thats no fun at all! :kaioken:

Brown belt... win trophies... grade... lose trophies... so much fun

Many, I suppose. I wonder how many have got, or may get themselves killed by trying to use "knife defense", "gun defense", etc. techniques taught to them by Mcdojo instructors.

It is sad, but by talking about it in forums such as this, we may be "saving" some future victims of Mcdojos.

Stop thinking only of yourself and give a thought to those poor suckers who keep loosing to you all the time, without knowing why....

Fighting arts that were not effective for fighting and selfdefense, never lasted long enough in martial arts history, to gain the Traditional Martial Arts - TMA - status.
