Ok so here's the thing. I'm in Karate and every so often my teacher gives us a bit of ground fighting to work on in class. I like ground fighting and I tried Judo for a night to see what it was like. I can't manage it in my busy schedule so I got the idea of my friend teaching me a bunch of ground fighting during the summer. I just want enough to be able to defend myself if it goes to the ground and maybe get good at ground fighting. I'm just wondering what you think of my idea? I'd really like to learn it and this is the only thing that would probably work out for me. Comments? Any specific techniques I should try and learn? Thanks. :karate:

Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have.

-Saul Alinsky

The soft and the yielding overcome the rigid and the hard, but few people put this into practice.
