SaiFightsMS Posted July 17, 2002 Posted July 17, 2002 I have subscribed for several years now. Yes, some issues are better than others mainly do to whether or not the articles are on topics that interest me. I think what they cover has changed over time but mainly in relation to how the general attitudes about martial arts have changed. While I may not enjoy NHB I do realize that there are many who do. And BB is not a specialty mag it is aimed at a general audience. And in a way exposure to more things is good.
shaolinprincess Posted July 18, 2002 Posted July 18, 2002 I dont subscribe but I have looked through it, it is really good. It's what you put into it...1st kyu-Okinawa Shorin Ryu Matsumura Seito Federation
BlueDragon1981 Posted July 18, 2002 Posted July 18, 2002 It does have a lot of crap sometimes but I still think that it is worth it. I see why the magazine survives too. Seen all the advertizements in there lately. They have to be getting alot of money for all that. Fightsport is a good one too. It is new out. Should be on newstands. It covers M. A. and the events like UFC, Pride, ect. Inside Kung Fu is okay. Dont care for Martial arts proffesional to much
Nickgarren Posted July 24, 2002 Posted July 24, 2002 I think it's an all right mag. It has some good points but it has way to many advertisments. For what the advertisers are paying, the mag should be givrn to the public free.
BlueDragon1981 Posted July 24, 2002 Posted July 24, 2002 Yeah they do have way to many advertizements for what they charge people a year. Unless they are a low cost magazine (i mean for the advertizing)
