Murphy's Law For Martial Artists

***The whimp who made it through sparring rounds on luck alone, will suddenly turn into Bruce Lee when you're up against him.

***The referee will ALWAYS be looking the other way when you score.

***Your Instructor will only use you when demonstrating Joint-Locking techniques or Judo throws

***If you have to use your training in self defense, your attacker's father will be a lawyer

***After a flawless demonstration, you will trip on the way back to your seat

***After years of training without a single injury, you will pull a muscle the night before your black belt exam.

Lol I remember performing a form without any mistakes in front of the class and was feeling quite pleased with myself... then tripped over my instructors daughter and nearly squashed her.

Haha, they are pretty true!

Or how about,

- the time you are asked to demostrate your best technique is class you fall on your face:lol:

External training without the training of the mind is nothing
