masterintraining
Okay i was watching Old UFC footage and thats where i found out about jason Delucia and how he was a original UFC fighter who unlike many of the currrent UFC fighter fought a traditional style of martial arts five animals kung-fu to be exact, and could actually use it for fighting. so my question is what happened to him. dose he still fight or what? i personally think of him as a inspiration even though he lost Royce gracie twice, many people did the same, dose he still do anything UFC or pro fighting related.actually as a matter of fact why did alot of Traditonal UFC fighters leave, there styles can be just as effective if applied differently i meen many of u have gotten into fights and Used tradtional MA 2 defend urslef, actually some r specifcally made for fighting ( Kyokushin Karate) and many of u compete in full contact tournaments using TMA and do great so why did TMAtist stop fighting in UFC and let every1 believe that the only effective styles are muay thai, Jiu jutsu, Judo, and kickboxing. PLease do not get me wrong i am not trying to say anythin is wrong with these styles i am just asking y people only use certain styles. you must learn different combinations of techniques down to your very soul and they must come without thinking when you finish with one technique, you must immediately go into another until you have attained your goal which is to destroy the enemy. A couple of sites that might shed some light on jason Delucia are:https://www.jasondelucia.com/en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jason_Deluciahttp://www.sherdog.com/fightfinder/fightfinder.asp?FighterID=22On the last site it shows his last fight was in 2006.actually as a matter of fact why did alot of Traditonal UFC fighters leave, there styles can be just as effective if applied differently i meen many of u have gotten into fights and Used tradtional MA 2 defend urslef, actually some r specifcally made for fighting ( Kyokushin Karate) and many of u compete in full contact tournaments using TMA and do great so why did TMAtist stop fighting in UFC and let every1 believe that the only effective styles are muay thai, Jiu jutsu, Judo, and kickboxing. PLease do not get me wrong i am not trying to say anythin is wrong with these styles i am just asking y people only use certain styles. These days anyone competing in the ufc is pretty much a known quantity. You can safely expect that both people are going to be good at the specific ranges used in the sport. Its not likely that there will be many new things seen in the octagon unless there are some rule changes. If you look back at the early ufc's that involved alot of traditional styles there was often a clip of the person training doing shadow boxing or whatever performing all the techniques found in their style. When it came to entering the ring, all the techniques went out the window because they never practiced them with real energy against resistance. Its unfortunate that in alot of traditional schools not much has changed. People get good at techniques without being able to apply them.So why arnt there many traditional styles in the ufc these days? I suppose if a person trains at a school that will help them reach their goals, it wouldnt make sense to train at a traditional school to prepare for ufc competition. The only time its seems to happen is when people try to prove their style holds some relevance to combat. However things like muay thai, bjj, boxing, wresting have all already been proven to be effective in the competition format so it makes more sense to train that if you want to compete. bushido_man96
A simple answer to your question is that the game of the MMA competition has evolved and changed into what it is because of what is sucessful under the rules set.All of the fighters are more balanced because it helps them to combat what they will see in the ring. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
