Wa-No-Michi Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 You Kyokushin guys love your "Osu"ing that's for sure. "A lot of people never use their initiative.... because no-one told them to" - Banksyhttps://www.banksy.co.uk
Kuma Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Been training in Kyokushin for almost 4 years now. Hoping to do my first knockdown tournament this summer. OSU!Neo - Kyokushin was founded in 1964 by Sosai Oyama and is a combination of Shotokan and Goju Ryu, so yes there are some similarities. I came to Kyokushin from a Goju background and my previous experience has helped a lot.
Dobbersky Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 Osu!!!I do an Ashihara Style which is a Kyokushin off shotOsu!!! "Challenge is a Dragon with a Gift in its mouth....Tame the Dragon and the Gift is Yours....." Noela Evans (author)
Kuma Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 Ashihara and Enshin are very interesting in my eyes. I truly enjoyed Ninomiya's Sabaki Method. Wish I could train it more other than just once in a while with an interested partner.
