Radok
What do you guys think is the most devestating art with roots to Korea? If you can't laugh at yourself, there's no point. No point in what, you might ask? there's just no point. Many people seem to take Karate to get a Black Belt, rather than getting a Black Belt to learn Karate. tessone
I'm not sure I see what all this "What's the kewlest art?" discussion really does. It seems to me it just sows dissention. Every art has its pluses and minuses. I like Kuk Sool in particular because it's so comprehensive and the people I know who are involved in it are great. I'm sure both things could be said about a lot of arts, Korean or otherwise. Chris TessoneBrown Belt, Kuk Sool Won
Karateka_latino
I think its Taekwondo... I remember watching a demo in an old tape from former Soldiers of the Korean Tiger division and the art covers lots of things.. kicking, punching, join locking, forms, breaking, sport full contact sparring, etc... its just my opinion

rabid hamster
there's really no "most devastating art," but hwarangdo is a complete art.... they develop ki exercises, healing, stealth, mental powers, 108 weapons, grappling, jointlocks, throws, all ranges of stand up fighting, forms, and more... But that doesn't really mean the art is most devastating. i like taekwondo, but that's the only korean art ive taken... It is only with the heart that one can see clearly, for the most essential things are invisible to the eye.

Hpkid0ist
It is very hard to get to the inside of a master TKD practitioner yes, but I wouldn't say it was even a combat art. 2nd Dan Hap Ki Do: What we do in life echos for an eternity!
