ninjanurse Posted June 1, 2007 Share Posted June 1, 2007 I would really really like to learn snowboarding- do you have to know how to ski first?All students are different so it is hard to say, however, from experience I will have to say that being a non-skier gives you the advantage because you have no pre-conceived ideas about movements on the snow. Also, in general, snowboarding is harder to learn than skiing (especially with the new ski technology which BTW is modeled after the snowboard!) but the learning curve is much faster. I love my health >.<- cooking- cleaning OTHER people's messes-reading-writing own books/stories- playing with kids- trampoline! Strike first. 'Til then i will not fight you. Everytime someone calls JKD a style, Bruce turns over.Why do I love Bruce Lee? Not because he was an awesome martial artist- but because his train of thought overlapped with mine even before I knew about him.
